Spain Education Programs CXXI (SEP) is a non-profit organization created in 2008 by a group of study abroad professionals, based in Madrid, seeking to provide quality affordable opportunities for U.S. students to study at Spanish public and private universities and for Spanish students to attend U.S. universities.
SEP works with a group of prestigious Spanish higher education institutions providing human and financial resources to explore, establish, and promote student and faculty exchanges with academic departments of U.S. universities.
OFFICIAL DEGREES / ACCREDITATION
All of the Spanish institutions working with SEP have approval from the ministry of education to grant official
university degrees. All the academic departments seeking to establish student exchange programs offer degrees that have been reviewed and approved by the national agency for quality evaluation and accreditation (ANECA). This is the highest level of accreditation in Spain, equivalent to the status recognition awarded in the U.S. by associations of higher education.
